The Waiting Man

'The Waiting Man' is a quiet consideration of the bleak, beautiful poetry of life. Domestic in its setting it attempts to reconcile the disparity between the epic emotions we silently feel everyday- those emotions which go un-noticed by the world at large but that make up the landscape of our lives. A young married couple attempt to care for a terminally ill family member finding comfort in the presence of one another but ultimately feeling alone in the face of their grief. The camera acts as a window into their world and watches as the events of a day and a night take place, events both dramatic and mundane, beautiful and entirely ordinary.
