Henry Alonso Myers (born March 1972; age 53) is a television writer and producer who serves as executive producer and showrunner on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. He also wrote eight episodes of the series.Myers served as writer, executive story editor, and producer on Charmed between 2002 and 2005, which featured James Read in a recurring role. From 2007 to 2010, he worked as writer and executive producer on Ugly Betty, starring Tony Plana and Vanessa Williams, and featuring Rebecca Romijn and Alan Dale in recurring roles.He continued his career as writer and producer on Chuck (2010-11), starring Bonita Friedericy, GCB (2012), The Carrie Diaries (2013), and Covert Affairs (2013), with Gregory Itzin in a recurring role.From 2016 to 2020, Myers served as showrunner, executive producer, and writer on SyFy's The Magicians, which he also co-developed for television, based on the novels by writer Lev Grossman.
