Easy Pork Bone and Corn Soup
This easy Chinese pork bone and corn soup is rich, naturally sweet, and comforting, with pork marrow bones simmered with corn, carrot, ginger, and a little cooking wine.

Ingredients
- 1 pork marrow bone
- 1 ear corn
- 1 carrot
- 3 slices ginger
- Cooking wine, as needed
- Salt, to taste
- Vinegar, a small spoonful
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: 1 pork bone, 1 ear of corn, 1 carrot, 3 slices of ginger, and cooking wine.

- Cut the corn into short sections.

- Cut the carrot into rolling-cut chunks.

- Rinse the pork bone well and place it in a pot.

- Add three slices of ginger.

- Add one spoonful of cooking wine, bring to a boil, and skim off the foam.

- Transfer the pork bone to the soup cooker or clean pot.

- Add the corn.

- Add the carrot.

- Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients, cover with a lid, and simmer for 50 minutes.

- Open the pot after simmering.

- Add one large spoonful of salt and one spoonful of vinegar, then get ready to serve.

- Ladle the soup into a bowl.

- Finished soup.

- Serve hot. It is rich, fragrant, and especially comforting.

Cooking Tips
- Add a little vinegar to help calcium from the pork bone dissolve into the soup.
- A soup cooker or slow cooker makes the broth richer and more fragrant, but a regular pot works too.
